I guess you really have to be into the site content before you actually get there! There is nothing worse than a long line of text - its a great idea but they could really expand on it and make it even greater. It could be very inspiring if it was done better. People should get up and do what they have always dreamed of.

Obviously the music industry has changed thanks to napster and sites like this one. Buying by the song is definately the way to go. Unlike napster you can not buy a subscription for the whole year with unlimited downloads - unless I totally missed this. At first I had to hunt for a way to listen to the songs - I started to sign up for an account thinking you had to do that in order to hear the tunes - but the sign up asks for your credit card information right of the bat - didn't want to give that out yet! So you have to hunt a little for a way to listen to the songs.

Everything about this site is pleasing. There is extensive content and choice. Information about music and artists is accurate and the videos and great to watch. The search engine works well and comes up with great upsell suggestions. It would be better if the individual tracks were easier to listen to. You can even buy tickets for concerts. Generally a good layout and just fun to get involved with what they have to offer. Customer service was also good and friendly. Everything loaded quickly and the audio and video feeds were excellent.

Sometimes it nice to use other search engines. Google and yahoo seem to always bring up the same ones. Ask jeeves seems to come up with some broad searches, in fact some of the old sites that you used to be able to pull up with yahoo for example don't come up any more not because they are no longer there but some other site is probably paying more money for their advertising which says nothing about their content at all.
You can have a search engine added to your website if you have one and that is always a good way to get more traffic to come to your site.

Good site to hear the lastest music and artists. The artist can also join Backstage Commerce, sell their music goods on thier own websites and in the Backstage store. They can also advertise and sell thier gigs. I like the idea of any tool where the artist can be more in control of as apposed to all the big record companies that just suck up all the profits.
Don't really know too much about what kind of artists are actually listed hear but I see from posting and listings on other parts of the web that they are fairly visible.

Great website.. tried the search engine under different search criteria and it seems to be able to pull up listings that are relevant. There is nothing worse than wasting time searching through bogus links. Does not seem to be over taken with a lot of advertising, rather targets its audience.
There is a Musician Classifieds and a forum and the membership is pretty widespread. Creating an account seemed easy enough and finding your way around was good. Artist friends give it a good rating.

Information center for persons wishing to trade or purchase used miniatures. This is fun for the avid gamer who is looking for certain game pieces although the site is a little "hammy". The site is functional nothing too exciting..tried to some postings and had a few problems getting them listed. Seemed to have problems signing up for an account and registering. The website seems to have good community. Also tried the live chat but had some serious problems loading it. I guess for the avid gamer its worth sweating it a little for a good barter -

All in all not too exciting as far as a gaming website goes. Not very good games. At least the company information is clearly listed the whole address. I think a site like this should let you know up fornt what sort of information they require from you if you should win money. One site I went to wanted all my personal information including my driver's license number..Also I live in Florida which prohibits playing games for money - would I automatically forfit my winnings ( once I have won them) because of the law in Florida? Florida is not the only state with this rule..These intructions are not included on this site.

Another website where you can hang out with your frineds which seems to be the thin to do although I prefer to hang out with them in the pub. Graphics and audio are pretty good. You can list your music here and your band. Bebo is the next generation social networking site where members can stay in touch with their College friends, connect with friends, share photos, discover new interests and just hang out.
Seems to be a fun place to hang out. There are some hammy home videos posted ( under videos)( audio is not very good). Clips of new bands and their music - fun to see whats going on.

I enjoy writing blogs on this site. It is easy to set an account and use the tools - in fact you can't really go wrong ... blogging is a really a chance for just about anyone to write about their opinions & views. The blogs seem to be well listed with google's search engine but not so much with other search engines. The site offers a pretty good online community and reaches a worldwide audience. Also there is a great new tool called the Internet blooger play google gadget. If you're into fiction writing, you can write a story and include a podcast, videoblog, or photoblog. The idea here is to have a mass effect on public awareness by sharing as many ideas in as many ways as possible.

Sending one of these movies instead of an email greeting card is a little more original and fun. The problem is setting up an account - until you manage to do that you can not edit the movies srtips with your own pictures. I emailed them and it took about 24 hours for them to respond with a way to log into a new account. Great if you've got time to wait - of course it is a new site so once they get this little problem sorted it will be o.k. The site is fun to explore and easy to use.

Great for someone like me that has family all over the world. This way you can share the lastest videos. You can up load them from your computer or straight from your mobile phone. The site is easy to use and navigate and should be pretty easy for anyone to be able to upload movies etc. This type of website is more fun than watching t.v. because there is so much more interaction. You can set the style of your channel so that your friends and family can share the things that you are interested in.

This is a great site for just about any person whether you are an amateur or a professional. You really can record you own videos and news feeds. Bascially just about anyone can become a journalist almost overnight. It brings the big studio to your desktop. Under the category of tools you can find some really cool free downloads such as remote video and videomail. I have been working with the internet for a few years but until I can to this site I was a new comer to rgw video and braodcasting world. This site is a little slow to load.

So far most of the members say they prefer this webstie to myspace. Amoung other things the schools haven't cottoned on to this website so you can still log onto it at school. There is no annoying advertising. Ths graphics are good and setting up an account seems pretty easy. This site has 2 million members and their features like Battles, Match, and myMag come straight from other members. Mymag is pretty cool its definately more fun to put together than just an ordinary web page. Its a good place for teens to get together and talk.

Certainly better than just renting the movie with the only draw back that its more difficult to get the new releases so if you like to watch the lastest you will still have to buy them / rent them. This would be cooler if they had a bigger international following because then you could buy and trade movies that are obviously more difficult to just go intot he store and buy. There are some foreign films to choose from but the choice is limited. Also the foriegn films are not categorised. The search engine needs improvement!

This site is all in Swedish with no language translation button - works o.k. for people like myself that speak fluent Swedish. I have not been to sweden in a few years so it is nice to hear what the latest music and artists are doing - The graphics are good and the audio pretty good. I think they need a larger community for it to be truely a social network community and I guess that will all come the bigger they get. The games will not load so I am not able to play any of them. Also the navigation needs a touch up as you have to hit the back button to get back to the main page.

I always like anything that takes away even just a little of the power away from the big corporations and networks. This is another site where you can post your own videos, stories opinions views and anything esle you want to share with your friends, relatives or just the online community. Not too much content and they need to work on the navigation a nd layout otherwise its very functional. It has all the necessary categories that you would want i.e. submit stories and vidros. Had a slightly hard time loading anything onto their site - emailed them. They responded promtly.

This site is definately geared to the genre it advertises. I like this kind of site = you don't have to guess or hunt. The content it really diverse if you are into this sort of thing and even if you are not you would have to appreciate the magnitude of the relevant information. You can find or post information for getting a DJ, finding a band, buying clothes or just hanging out in their chat rooms. The message board is current and up to date and filled with great information. The site is eay to navigate and you will spend a great deal of time here exploring all that they have to offer.

My teenage son likes to go to this site and play some of the games which are a little like playing some of the older games like pac man. Some of the games will not load. At first I thought there wasn't a whole lot on this site but my son pointed out some of the pictures, videos and stories to me and I had to really laugh at some of them - they were genuinely funny. Well to me anyway - maybe I don't get out much these days. The navigation on the site could definately stand for a tune up.
