Skill Games / Cash Games Websites Review

Skill Gaming Websites, also called cash games or cash competitions websites, allow users to play games of skill against other players of similar skill and win cash and other prizes. Games of skill / skill games, unlike gambling, are legal because there is a predominant element of skill vs chance in determining the outcome of the game. Games of skill incorporate variables that eliminate ""luck"" or chance including timers / speed, knowledge, hand-eye movements, etc. Games of skill are legal in most states in the US and overseas. Games of skill include many of the classic favorites such as card games (Solitaire, Rummy, etc.), puzzle games (Bejeweled, Blocks, etc.), word games (Scabble, WordWorm, etc.). Skill gaming websites offer many types of tournament formats including limited tournaments and progressive tournaments. Limited tournaments allow a specific number of tournament entrants (i.e. 2, 4, 6) and close when the last player has played. The winner is decided by the player with the highest score and all money wagered, minus the house rake %, is awarded to the winning spot (s). Progressive tournaments allow users to enter the tournament with no entrant limits however there is an entry deadline. As players enter the tournament, the prize pool increases and winning positions are paid out once the end date is reached and the higher scores are tabulated.
